INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPEAKERS

Please note that if you do not follow the guidelines mentioned below we cannot assume any responsibility for your presentation.

BEFORE THE CONGRESS

To maximise the effectiveness of your presentation, the Local Organizing Committee has decided that you only may use A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION to illustration your talk.

IT 1S NOT ALLOWED TO BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP. NO DOUBLE PROJECTION WILL BE AVAILABLE

PowerPoint from Microsoft is the only presentation programme which can be used. Most PowerPoint presentations will be made in a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. All video data projectors (beamers) from the Amsterdam RAI can visualise these resolutions.

AT THE CONGRESS

• 1. Please come to the Presentation Preview Room, located in the Lounge Forum to have a final check of your presentation, AT LEAST ONE DAY before your presentation.
• The technical staff of the Amsterdam RAI will bring your presentation to the meeting room.
• 2. Be in the meeting room 15 minutes before the beginning of your session in order to make acquaintance of the chairperson and other speakers. Provide relevant information (e.g., your affiliations) to the chairperson for your introduction.
• 3. Stay within schedule. The chairperson has been instructed to be very strict with the time table and to ask al] speakers to adhere to their limit.

• The Registration Desk and the Presentation Preview Room in the Amsterdam RAI Congress
  
  Centre will be open on the following hours:
• Sunday, 31 August                14.00 - 17.30 hrs
• Monday, 1 September          08.00 - 18.00 hrs
• Tuesday, 2 September           08.00 - 18.00 hrs
• Wednesday, 3 September     08.00 - 15.30 hrs
• Thursday, 4 September          08.00 - 16.00 hrs
   
•  Upon arrival please proceed to the registration desk to receive your congress documents.
