Dear Friends, dear Colleagues,

In less than 10 days we will have the 24^th Politzer Society Meeting in Amsterdam!  This great otological event for all ear surgeons and researchers in otology will attract many workers in that field to the capital of the Netherlands.
 
The Program advisory board and the local organizing committee have created a final program full of different interesting otological topics. On this website we will present you the final program (and all prelimenary programs) and you will see that this well-balanced program contains a variety of all the subjects that make modern otology so interesting.

Scientific Program:
Fine Posters, free papers, Case report sessions, Round table discussion, Pros/cons debates, Video’s, Key lectures and EAONO workshops create the possibility of free exchange of views between clinicians and scientists. Besides the international scientific faculty of almost a hundred well-known otologists also many participants from all over the world have already been registered.
The organization is now hard working on the creation of a excellent abstract book covering all the papers that will be presented on the upcoming Politzer Society Meeting from 31 august to 4 September in Amsterdam. Maybe you did not react on the second announcement booklet or you just forgot to fill in the registration form and to book some of the social events and excursions.

Social Events:
Talking about the social events “have you been on a old VOC sailing vessel before?” or  what about sailing the famous Amsterdam canals see the beautiful canal houses and enjoying a nice drink. Visiting the well-known Dutch Heineken Brewery is also a happening after a day of interesting papers. Did you know that the Local committee succeeded to get the Dutch “phenomenon on the grand piano” Jan Vayne for the entertainment during the congress diner in the famous Dutch Maritime Museum?  Jan Vayne played for example at the inauguration of American President Bill Clinton in 1997! His improvisations called “real-time composing” will offer you the opportunity to know Jan Vayne better. Needles to say that we offer you the possibility to visit one of the finest picturesque places of Holland; Volendam and the island of Marken.

Registration:
So don’t hesitate to long. Register as soon as possible for the 24^th Politzer Society Meeting in Amsterdam (the Otology congress). It will be worth it because after the first of august you can not profit of the regular fee anymore.
